Tiffany Nielsen - 1st Attendant
Tiffany is 17 and the daughter of the late Doug
Nielsen and Marcia Oman of Tabiona. Tiffany likes riding her
horses, going on cattle drives, spending time with her family,
camping and fishing. She is a cheerleader at Tabiona High School
and spent all winter chasing the basketball team, and spent
all spring, summer and fall with
her horses.
She is a junior and has been taking college classes all year to help her graduate
high school with her LPN license. She plans to attend SUU to finish her nursing
degree. Tiffany's scholastic honors and other accomplishments include being
in the FFA presidency for the last three years and she was chosen to be the
2010-2011 FFA president. She has been an honorary student all through high
school and was also the freshman and junior class presidents. This year she
was co-captain on the cheerleading squad. She was the 2008 Duchesne County
Rodeo Queen, 2006 Tabiona Valley Rodeo Queen and 2009 Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo
2nd Attendant.
“I would make a great Dinosaur Roundup Queen because I have been with the
Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo in previous years whether it was with carrying flags or
being with the royalty. The Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo has always had great queens,
creating a reputation that we should all be proud of, and I know I will carry
out what these past queens have created,” Nielsen said. |
Chasity
Arnold - 2nd Attendant
Chasity, 23, is the daughter of Kevin and LaRae
Arnold of Heber City. She enjoys hunting and ice fishing with
her dad, snowmobiling, riding the dune buggy, riding horses
and chasing cows.
She graduated from Wasatch High School in 2004 and went on to receive her Veterinary
Tech degree a year later from Penn Foster School. Her scholastic honors and
other accomplishments include being involved in FFA where she was able to travel
to Louisville, Ky., and receive her American Degree. She has won several record
book awards and numerous “Best in Show” showing horses in 4H. She
also received showmanship buckles showing swine. In 2006 she was awarded Mountain
Valley Stampede 1st Attendant, in 2007 Mountain Valley Stampede Queen, and
in the years 2008 and 2009 Spanish Fork Fiesta Days 2nd Attendant.
“I would be honored to represent the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo as their rodeo
queen, to promote the great sport of rodeo and represent the basin as best I
can and I would like to spread the word of the great Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo everywhere
I can,” said Arnold.
