Easily the most over-educated contract personnel member in the PRCA, Dr. Wil Moorhead will bring the heart-pounding music and sound effects to the Greatest Show on Dirt in 2024. Wil was raised in Beech Island, South Carolina and grew up on the production side of rodeo. Wil has been a PRCA Music Director for well over a decade and was one of the first carded Music Directors in the PRCA in 2016. He also brings the experience of event production from 2 separate NCAA institutions as well as audio production experience for the SEC Network and ESPN.
Now a resident of north Texas, he owns not only a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University, but also a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. Despite this education, Wil believes his true calling is in rodeo production and he has chosen to spend much of his time traveling with his wife, Angela, and their 3 dogs to work at rodeos around the country. When not on the road, Moorhead owns and operates FLEXX Animal Chiropractic while also producing and editing video content for rodeo productions around the country. Wil has had the honor of being selected as the music director for two separate PRCA Circuit Finals events at the Southeastern Circuit Finals in 2019 and the Texas Circuit Finals Rodeo in 2023.
